I agree, but there seems to be rare examples of companies like Palantir that have been able to achieve a high PSR despite a business largely based on man-power. Current PSR is about 26x, which is much higher than traditional SaaS companies.
My take is that if a company starts with a consulting based business it is quite difficult to transition to a scalable product. The margins and revenue of the product side will always be compared to the consulting side which has high margins.
